FREEWHEEL 9T DRIVER

I’m ordering my frame and fork tomorrow and I think I’ve decided to buy a new casette wheel with a 9 tooth driver. Daniel Dhers Goes Titanium 3. They’re typically 8tt anymore. I’m building up a complete from pretty much nothing- I haven’t ridden bmx since I was real young so mostly all of the parts I had lying around are unusable or not compatible. The cranks I have now are 1 piece and the frame that I’m getting has a sealed mid bb so I’m gonna have to buy a new crankset and sprocket for the bike anyways- I’m thinking that I might go with a slightly higher toothed sprocket to give the bike a bit more top speed. Does hub spacing tell me which kind of freewheel I can get?

BB size is depended on the frame and crank though. Some drivers might fit other hubs but a lot of factors go into that freewheels, what I assume you have, are larger and thread onto the hubshell on the outside and only go as low as 13t 12t uncommonly though and most of the time don ‘t include a freewheel these handy photos courtesy of Vital will be helpful in explaining for visual aid so, you CAN’T put a driver on a freewheel hub but you can put a cassette hub on the wheel you currently have Hey vital- slowly trying to piece everything together so I dont mess up and waste money building up my bike.

If i was to calculate the gear ratio of different gears on my mountain bike would i be able to get a bit of an idea of the difference in feel or do you think it wouldn’t really transfer over?
